Learn to breath DEEP, take a walk and think about all the things you are grateful for.  Change your Focus- and you will change your LIFE!

Combat anxiety by keeping your mind and body otherwise engaged. Sitting around for the whole day causes you to think about your anxiety more. Easy tasks, such as vacuuming the rugs or washing your windows are tremendously helpful.

Start keeping a diary. Many people have allowed stress to build up within their thoughts. When you can unload all of the “stuff” in your mind into a diary or journal, it frees your brain up to think about the present, rather than dwelling on past of future events that trigger anxiety.

If you suffer from anxiety, ensure you are getting plenty of sleep each night. Lack of sleep could make your anxious feelings and thoughts worse. That is why it is important to get the right amount of sleep. Additionally, you may even feel physical discomfort due to the sleep deprivation. You should try to sleep for at least seven to nine hours each night.

Anxiety is a part of life. However, it becomes a problem when it takes over your life. You must know the difference between anxiety that motivates and that which harms.

Rub your hands against each other for a few seconds, then cover your eyes with them while relaxing. Lots of people use this quick way to get calm to help with their anxiety. Try it out yourself the next time anxiety catches you off guard.

The initial step towards managing anxiety is isolating the triggers that cause your anxious feelings. Give a label to the things that you realize are anxiety producing in your life. Putting a name on your triggers makes you more aware of them, giving you greater control over your anxiety levels.

If you need to unburden yourself to deal with your anxiety, consider visiting a therapist. Sometimes people become overwhelmed with anxiety because they have no one to talk to about their problems, and they feel like they don’t want to burden their friends and family with their problems. Talking with therapists can help a lot.

If you are among the millions of others suffering with chronic anxiety, consider a helpful talk with a family member or trusted friend. This is a great way to have some attention as well as vent negative emotions.

As has been stated, living with anxiety can be tough. Luckily, the anxiety-busting guidelines listed here could really help you. When you feel anxious next time, remember these tips are here to help you reduce your anxiety.
