Bradenton Beach FL USA – The Secret Shell Beach

Bradenton Beach FL USA – The Secret Shell Beach

Do you love to walk in the ocean and look for shells?  And other Ocean Treasures?

Every Ocean is Unique

That is one of my favorite things to do.  However if you have seen many of the beaches here in the USA or around the world you will see that not all ocean beaches are the same.  You will notice that the sand, the shells or lack of, and the textures and colors are different and unique to each ocean that you visit.

Brandenton Beach is one of my personal favorites because is is close to Anna Marie Island, the place to go for shells and ocean treasures.

Bradenton Beach is a small friendly Island community of both permanent and seasonal residents with lots of natural resources, it is located on Florida’s southwest coast in Manatee County on the Gulf of Mexico between Tampa and Sarasota.  Brandenton’s Gulf islands are comprised of two islands Anna Marie Island and Longboat Key accessible by bridges that will lead you there.

Bradenton Beach is a community of approximately 1500 people located on the southern end of Anna Marie Island… the island is located at the entrance to Tampa Bay on the Gulf of Mexico access to Anna Marie Island can be reached by bridge

The beaches here are sugar sand beaches for miles there are lots of fishing piers and cafés off the beach.  This beach also has fishing tours and local guides to take you through the area

We really enjoyed our stay here!  The environment is laid-back and friendly and everyone seems to welcome new visitors and residents with warmth

The average temperature here in January is about 72° and in August around 91° the average rainfall is over 50 inches, there are seven parks and 4 miles of beaches, the average temperature here on the golf is 79°
