Utilize an A/B testing process on the homepage of your mobile site. This will help you test which strategies work and which ones don’t, which is as crucial to mobile site development as it is to creating standard web pages. Create two unique versions of your landing pages (A & B), then determine which page your visitors prefer. It is key to choose the page that will be most functional for your mobile visitors.
If you are planning on sending out text messages, give your audience the option to opt-in and let people know how often you are going to text them before they sign up. Give an honest schedule and remember the opt-in feature. Only send to those who are accepting of your messages. Staying honest is the best way to improve your customers’ faith in your brand.
Make sure that you add mobile friendly directions and maps to your website. When people are on the road, they usually have their mobile phones. That is when they might access a map. Be easily accessible. Verify that the maps look great on mobile phones and come up correctly when doing mobile searches. Consider using an external link to a known site, like Google maps, for your customers.
