Optimizing your Blog Posts with H-Tags

You will want to make sure you are using H Tags to optimize the key words that you are using in your blog so that others SEARCHING for what you have can find you.

Customizing Banners on your Empower Network Blog

Your blog will come with a Banner at the top, three photo images along the side of your blog and one banner at the bottom of your blog.  You own all this onlne marketing space to advertise what you would like to promote on your page.

You can use the side banner for a form on your blog like the one below… that your prospects can sign up to learn more about you and your business… You will want to put the BANNER PHOTO on your BLOG and REDIRECT them to your FORM to sign up by clicking on the Picture… You can sample this by clicking on the photo here…

Connecting your Google analytics to your Empower Blog- to see your traffic

Google Analytics Setup:  It is possible to add Google Analytics tracking to your blog to see how many visits each blog post is receiving.  

You will need to create a Google Analytics account with Google first to do this.

Be sure that your Google Analytics account is set to: A single domain

And not to: One domain with multiple subdomains

And that the URL you have entered into Google Analytics is:

YOURUSERNAME.

Please refer to Google’s settings and help section for where to check these settings and adjust them. Since Google often changes the appearance and location of settings Empower Network will be unable to assist in the specific instructions of where the change these settings.

You will need to enter the tracking code that Google provides into Empower Network account. To do so, follow the steps below:

• Login to your Empower Network account and in the upper right hand corner click on the VIEW/EDIT MY BLOG

• On the Left side of the header banner you will see a + sign, click on that as it will open a drop down menu, go to the SEO OPTIONS click to open

• Scroll down to the bottom and you will see Google Analytics—enter in your code in the format example provided. This should be a UA-435353-01
